I am the first stand up comedienne in Iraq!

I have wanted to do stand up since I was 18. I would write jokes and share them with family and friends. They were my first real audience.
In 2013, I volunteered with TEDx Baghdad. One of the speakers was a “no show,” so in order to fill the slot, I suggested to do a stand up show.I had less than a day to write the script and practice
this was My first-ever stand in front of over 750 people.
It was incredible!
The best feeling in the world is to make hundreds of people laugh, especially since our country is in such a miserable state.
