IRAN LOVES ISRAEL

We lived through eight long years of bloodshed and war between Iran & Iraq, (the longest war in the 20th Century from September 1980 – August 1988), a war that started for no clear reason, with millions killed on both sides that made Iranians SICK OF WAR! Thousands of mothers lost their children in this war.
Thousands of children lost their fathers. More graveyards in Iran had to be built during the war. Nearly everyday for eight years, we heard the red sirens telling us that another bomb was coming! Yes, I am an Iranian, and when I talk about war I know, first hand, what war is and the results of war and hatred. Oh my God, now another war with no reason is coming? Not with Iraq, but with another neighbor country called Israel? This fear and dread of another war is our daily routine in Iran. The war between Iran and Iraq was started based on our government’s decisions and was stopped by the government as well.? We, as ordinary people, were not given a chance to understand the reasons for the war with Iraq, but still, we were routinely sent into battle to be killed.
Even today, we still don’t know the true reasons why they, the governments on both sides, started the war. But this time, as an Iranian, I want to know WHY my land, Iran, is going to be involved with war with our neighbor, Israel.
So, to the governments on BOTH sides,
Iran and Israel, we say, “Please just wait! Give us more time to get to know each other!” We are our own ambassadors. I believe that we must have a reason to hate, but we don’t need a reason to love! I have no reason to hate Israelis, and since I don’t need a reason to love Israelis, I LOVE ISRAELIS.
Once again loud and clear, ‘We are ready to live in peace! We are NOT ready to die in a ‘no-reason-bloody-war’ between two neighboring countries that are supposed to be friends and love each other!
