My father was a very dominating figure. my mother was his second wife. I grew up seeing him control everything and everybody. He was a perfectionist and always criticized my mother for everything. I hated when he criticized the food she cooked. Once my father saw me playing basketball and told my mother that I was not allowed to play with my male cousins. He said she should teach me some girls stuff. I yelled at him that I will play and won’t cook or do girly stuff. The next day he took down the basketball net.

PEACE it’s VIRAL
PEACE starts with the people, one person at a time. Today it’s easier than ever to connect and reach out to one another. We can talk, we can meet, and we can start a new friendship without even leaving our homes just by the click of a button. One new person, One new connection. Peace is when we see and treat each other as people. All we have to do is talk.
