Everyone always wanted to watch everything that was going on and I only wanted to watch cartoons.
I started looking for studios. A man told me that they were in the Atlas studio. I went there and I asked the security guard. He said yes, but didn’t let me in. I begged him but he didn’t agree. I gave him almost all the money I had without even thinking.
I entered but there was
no James Franco,
no Nicole Kidman,
no one…
An Israeli guy and I got into a same elevator in a hotel in Bulgaria. He said something in Hebrew to me that I didn’t understand. I asked him: “Do I look like an Israeli to you?”
I am part of the half of society that gives birth and raises the other half.
Yet, my voice
means nothing.
I can understand boycotting products from the settlements but I think there were always amazing voices inside Israeli academia who truly represent a brighter light.
I was in Jerusalem and in Jaffa where my dad was born. My whole trip was about going back in time and finding the missing pieces that belong to the puzzle of my soul.
I wish I could remember her name now. She visited my grandmother almost every day, and always seemed so lonely to me. She used to bake cookies for me every day. I suddenly remembered her today. I don’t know why. I guess I miss those cookies.
I remember falling in love with the girl from my neighborhood at the age of 11.
I never told her a thing about it…

My father used to tell me not to listen to this music, and that it leads to drugs and other bad things.
Now he’s kind of OK with it, sometimes he even ask me about the names of the metal groups I listen to.
